Thank you for using RoeRar! RoeRar is a bilingual (English / Burmese) reference to Myanmar's traditional nats, heroes, and Bodaw lineages. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data while using our app.

1. Information We Collect

RoeRar requires no account and collects no personal information by itself. The only data stored is on your own device:

• App preferences: your language choice (English/Burmese) and theme choice (Light/Dark), so the app remembers them between launches.
• Cached app metadata: the last successfully fetched public announcement/update record and the time it was fetched, so the app keeps working offline.
• Contact information: such as name or email address, only if you contact us for feedback or support.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information for purposes such as:

• Remembering your language and theme preferences.
• Showing announcements and update notices from our public metadata file.
• Fixing bugs and responding to user feedback.

3. Network Requests and Third-Party Services

• Public metadata fetch: the app periodically fetches a public JSON file (https://tdz-version.netlify.app/apps.json) over HTTPS to check for announcements and new versions. This request contains no personal data.
• External links: contact actions (Messenger, Telegram), Share App, and store/update links open your browser or other apps. Those services have their own privacy policies.
• No analytics, no ads, no crash reporting (v1.0): this version integrates no Firebase, Crashlytics, AdMob, or any advertising/tracking SDK. If such a service is added in a future version, this policy will be updated before release.

4. Clipboard

The app copies text (such as the donation phone number) to the clipboard only when you explicitly tap a Copy action. It never reads your clipboard.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not share or sell your personal data. Information may only be shared in these cases:

• If required by law.
• To protect legal rights or ensure safety.
• With your explicit consent.

6. Security

All network requests use HTTPS. We use modern security practices to safeguard your information. However, no online service can be completely secure.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request to update or delete your personal information.
• Clear the app's on-device data at any time via your device's app settings (this resets language/theme preferences).
• Contact us with privacy-related concerns.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy occasionally. Updates will be posted here with a new date.
